Jinfo is a content purchase strategy company from West London that has been trading for over 25 years. It provides research and practical tools to enhance content purchasing strategy and maximise value.

Jinfo had built a custom website and CMS solution over a period of 20 years, but wanted to move to a modern platform architecture. As the website had good SEO rankings, the customer feared that switching to a new off–the–shelf CMS would lose its existing structure and URLs. They were very particular that Grizzlyware should create the new site to be identical, in both frontend function and look.

We built a new custom CMS using Laravel, a PHP framework, and were able to rebuild, modernise and streamline the data structure to make it easier to work with going forward, all the while keeping URLs and content the same. As a result, the site is now secure, updated and hosted on modern servers, which, to the end–user, results in faster load times and secure data.

We also migrated all the content from the old site to the new, using bespoke migration tools that we custom–built. For Jinfo, they retained the site they were used to and now benefit from its future–proofing and longevity, data/user data security, paywall modernisation, and an easy to use admin area. Jinfo's customers were also happy as we added a few quality of life improvements, including streamlining the login procedure and making content easier to find.
